Where can I find a freeware(or opensource) animation package that exports to.avi so I can send to youtube?
Ton H asked: Excluding the ability to export to .swf because I’m not looking for a flash based animator.
Does that exist in anyways?

Generally, swf file has the best animation character. So I think the source file for animated .avi file can use animated .swf file.
That’s say you can find a extremely animated .swf file, and then use a great SWF converter like Moyea SWF to Video Converter to convert the swf to .avi file. But make sure that this software can fully keep the original animation.
Thus you can upload the avi file to youtube!
free version of Moyea swf to video converter can be find at.
You can try!

MonkeyJam is the only one I know of. It’s a free program used for doing traditional frame by frame animation, and it exports to avi.
The page is actually down right now, but it’ll probably be back up soon. Or you can download it from here:
There are other programs you can try like Digicel Flipbook, but they’re not free. You can probably find them c r a cked online.
